I have worked with all ages and love to see children learn and grow! There is nothing better than watching children's faces light up after they make their own project, build a tower, or simply learn something new and exciting to them! It is a great feeling to know that you have made a difference in a young one's life. Getting a hug or big smile from a child is the best!!!

Hi, my name is Kristie and I have three beautiful children. I have my associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education.I started working at LDI in April 2015. I am the oldest of seven children. It was great growing up in a large family and always having someone close to play with, confide in and help take care of. I knew when I was younger I wanted to be a teacher.  I’m amazed at how much work and pride comes from knowing that you're making a difference in a child's life, just by being there, loving them and guiding them in a positive way. I believe strongly that our future is our children! Just knowing that I had some small role in such an amazing journey is all the happiness I need. I have realized that being a teacher, not only are the children learning from me, but I am also learning from them. I feel honored that such a great Early Learning Center would allow me to take this journey with them as LDI has.
