Michelle Davis

Abington Director ~Lead Preschool Teacher

I have been working in the childcare field for over 27 years. I am Director-2 qualified and lead infant/toddler, and preschool certified. I have worked with all ages and love to see children learn and grow! There is nothing better than watching children's faces light up after they make their own project, build a tower, or simply learn something new and exciting to them! IT is a great feeling to know that you have made a difference in a young one's life. Getting a hug or big smile from a child is the best!!!

I have 3 children of my own (ages 29, 25, and 18). In my spare time, you can find me just relaxing with my husband watching movies, cooking, or hanging out at the pool with family and friends during the summer!

Hi, my name is Kristie and I have three beautiful children. I have my associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education.I started working at LDI in April 2015. I am the oldest of seven children. It was great growing up in a large family and always having someone close to play with, confide in and help take care of. I knew when I was younger I wanted to be a teacher.  I’m amazed at how much work and pride comes from knowing that you're making a difference in a child's life, just by being there, loving them and guiding them in a positive way. I believe strongly that our future is our children! Just knowing that I had some small role in such an amazing journey is all the happiness I need. I have realized that being a teacher, not only are the children learning from me, but I am also learning from them. I feel honored that such a great Early Learning Center would allow me to take this journey with them as LDI has.
